TYM CEO Kim Dohoon receives Presidential Citation at 9th Middle Market Enterprises Day

TYM announced that Kim Dohoon, CEO, received the Presidential Commendation Award at the 9th Middle Market Enterprises Day Ceremony held at the Westin Chosun Hotel in Seoul.
Mr. Kim was honored for leading the innovation of smart agricultural technology and paving the way for TYM to become a global agricultural machinery company. Beyond the domestic market, TYM has greatly enhanced its global competitiveness by focusing on strengthening its brand competitiveness and expanding its service network in global markets such as North America, Europe, and Australia.
The company was also recognized for promoting the digital transformation of agriculture through the overseas expansion of autonomous driving and telematics technology, and for promoting internal innovation by introducing and implementing ESG management throughout the company.
In addition, it received high marks for its management consulting support for win-win cooperation with partners and development and support of training programs to foster agricultural machinery experts. The company has also been steadily implementing social contribution activities such as the free tractor support project for young farmers and reconstruction projects in Ukraine and Turkey, and support projects for natural disaster areas at home and abroad.

The Middle Market Enterprises is the largest event for the mid-career enterprises industry held annually since the Middle Market Enterprises Act came into effect on July 22, 2014. This year, more than 200 representatives and officials from middle market enterprises, including Prime Minister Han Deok-soo, Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Jang Young-jin, and Chairman Choi Jin-sik, attended the event, and a total of 46 awards were presented. To be eligible for the award, employees working at middle market enterprises support organizations, academia, or research institutes who have contributed to the development and research of middle market enterprises must have worked at their current organizations for at least three years.
