TYM, Donation of KRW 100,000,000, 10 Tractors to Ukraine Embassy…Total of KRW 500,000,000 value

Currently, agricultural tractors are used for the war and in shortage of farming. Ukraine’s farmland area is about 420,000 km² scale and has very fertile soil which is called as World Granary. Major grains such as wheat and corn are produced in fertile land, also known as black soil, account for 10% of the world's wheat exports and 18% of corn exports.

However, the Russian attack paralyzed the grain production of Ukraine, and it will lead to domestic food crisis and beyond the global.

TYM decided to make the donation to aid Ukraine refugees and food supply problems. Addition to this donation, further donation activities will be planned depend on the Ukraine situation.

TYM Chairman Kim Hiyong said “We will actively engage to support for Ukraine which needs our urgent assistance“, and wish for “World Peace and Harmony and great assistance to Ukraine.”

Meanwhile, TYM has been actively involved in Domestic/International Social contribution. Due to COVID-19 in 2020, 20,000 masks were donated to senior citizen in rural areas and vulnerable class when there was shortage in mask supply, and also additional 50,000 masks in 2021. In last November, the company provided emergency support for Diesel Exhaust Fluid to farmers who were suffering from short supply.
