The TYM John Deere R series employs a high-power, eco-friendly eVGT engine with a Power Booster feature that can add up to 40 HP. Its Power Beyond valve allows installation of a wide variety of implements and the large amount of rear hydraulic ports allow the operator to get to work quickly. Featuring a wide range of Michelin tires and a Command Center screen, equipped with a hydraulic top-link. Models 6R 145 and above come with Auto Power transmissions (gear-less transmission), a CommandPRO lever, along with iTEC functionality, and are equipped with trailer brakes.

The eVGT engine enables efficient operation by increasing the PTO output by 20 horsepower for the 6R 110 and 6R 120 and by 30 horsepower for the 6R 130, during high load operations.
