SANGJU Agricultural Machinery Exhibition 2021

By the time plum blossoms and cherry blossoms spread, an event specializing in agricultural machinery is held once every two years at Bukcheon Civic Park in Sangju, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The Sangju Agricultural Machinery Exhibition, organized by the Korea Agricultural and Machinery Industry Cooperative (KAMICO), is a 16,649㎡-wide exhibition that showcases agricultural machinery and materials. In 2019, the event featured agricultural machinery, various seminars to expand exports, and posters to prevent agricultural machinery accidents.

The event is held to improve the domestic agricultural equipment industry, create a foundation for overseas exports, introduce the future of agriculture to farmers through smart farm-linked agricultural equipment, and enhance agricultural productivity through information exchange between farmers and producers.

It also intends to revitalize the local economy by promoting local specialties and tourism together. In 2019, a total of 180,000 visitors attended the event. In 2021, the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and has now been scheduled in the spring of 2022.
