TYM, Faster Production of Eco-Friendly Tractors... I signed an MOU with DYETEC
On the 7th, TYM signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with DYETEC to implement the use of "eco-friendly lightweight composite production technology" and maintain confidentiality. TYM CEO Kim Do-hoon and DYETEC director Hong Sung-moo attended the signing ceremony.

DYETEC is a specialized production technology research institute under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and is a representative research institute in the field of eco-friendly textile materials in Korea that is leading the conversion of the textile industry to clean environment processes. Since being designated as the four major material agencies in 2019, it has been selected as the organizer of the Green & Clean Factory conversion project by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy for the second consecutive year. In addition, it has successfully carried out projects to establish and demonstrate a big data platform for materials supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and an economic-based urban regeneration project organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
The use of DYETEC's Kenyaf/PP composite material for agricultural machinery parts will increase the strength and weight of existing PP/Talc parts by more than 25%, contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions. Starting with the use of the material for K3 tractors, TYM plans to gradually expand and apply it to the entire agricultural machinery produced by TYM Group.
TYM Group declared ESG management for the first time in the industry last year and is spurring various environmental management activities. It signed a business agreement with Sensolution, an eco-friendly energy company, to convert major business sites of TYM, including Iksan plant in Jeollabuk-do, to eco-friendly and low-energy production facilities, and continues value management for the environment, including setting environmental goals through ISO's in-house standard management system.
In particular, in January, it drew attention by applying the eco-friendly ballroom LFI method to tractor exterior products for the first time in Korea and forming a partnership with KOLON GLOTECH to apply eco-friendly material technology solutions to products inside and outside parts. Following KOLON GLOTECH, this business agreement with DYETEC is also a technology partnership to produce differentiated eco-friendly agricultural machinery, and TYM Group will continue to implement a roadmap for carbon reduction by securing various sustainable product-related technologies.
