Hello, I’m Junho Heo, and I’ve been farming in Nonsan for over 20 years. Alongside rice, I grow upland crops like radishes, cabbages, and potatoes.

Busy harvest days on our shared potato fields in Nonsan
Potatoes cover about 10,000 pyeong (approx. 3.3 hectares / 8.1 acres), and with the new potato harvest in full swing, every day is a busy one. I’ve used TYM equipment exclusively since the early 2000s. My main machines now are the K58 and K110E, and I also run an RGO rice transplanter during transplanting season.

Good potatoes start with a good tractor
Every year, I supply all of my potatoes to a Korean food company, N. Because our quality is trusted, harvest season becomes a race against time. How quickly and reliably we harvest in that short window directly determines the quality of the potatoes.
That’s when the most dependable partner is the TYM K58. With powerful and reliable performance, it runs without interruption even in large fields. When paired with a potato harvester, it can easily cover 3,000 pyeong (about 1 hectare / 2.4 acres) in a single day. It runs smoothly even over rough ground, which speeds up the harvest, and the electronic hydraulic controls greatly reduce fatigue during long hours. The K58 also features a position lever and an external hydraulic lever for precise control of rear implements. Thanks to the PTO switch, I can start and stop rotation independently of travel, making the whole process much more efficient.

TYM, the strength behind every moment on the farm
It’s not just the machine I rely on. TYM consistently listens to the voices from the field and improves its products, while the dealer’s prompt service is a major support. That’s what allows me to focus on farming and produce top-quality potatoes every year. I’m confident that with TYM by my side, my potatoes will continue to be recognized for both their flavor and reliability.
