My trust in TYM goes far beyond product satisfaction—it’s a confidence built over decades. These machines work tirelessly with minimal breakdowns, and when issues do arise, TYM’s service team responds quickly and effectively.

My name is Juseong Oh, and I’ve been farming in Cheongju, South Korea, for over 40 years. Today, I manage 20 acres of rice paddies and 15 acres of fields, focusing on root crops like potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, and burdock. Among them, lotus root—a local specialty of Cheongju—has become the most important crop on my farm, accounting for more than half of my field production.

Each spring, I personally nurture over 2,500 seedling trays in our greenhouses. During harvest season, my wife and I dry and prepare our crops in two storage sheds near our home before delivering them to the local agricultural cooperative. While I’m grateful for my family’s support—especially when my grown children come to help on weekends—what truly enables me to manage such a large-scale operation with confidence is the reliability of my TYM equipment.

My journey with TYM began in the 1980s, starting with a simple cultivator. As my farm grew, so did my fleet: a two-row rice transplanter, a combine, and a 30-horsepower tractor, all from TYM. Over time, I added more advanced machinery, including a vegetable transplanter and larger tractors. Today, my lineup includes the K110E tractor, the four-row CX4075 combine, and, most recently, the ISEKI six-row rice transplanter PR63, which I purchased this February. I also plan to add the six-row CX6130 combine later this year. With such dependable equipment, I feel truly secure in my work.

My trust in TYM goes far beyond product satisfaction—it’s a confidence built over decades. These machines work tirelessly with minimal breakdowns, and when issues do arise, TYM’s service team responds quickly and effectively. Most importantly, I always feel that TYM genuinely cares about its customers, supporting us not just as clients, but as partners in the field. As someone whose livelihood depends on farming, that kind of relationship is invaluable.

Recently, I was invited by Mr. Jonggeun Jeong, the Cheongju TYM dealer, to attend the 2025 TYM Customer Appreciation Event in Gumi. It was a large-scale gathering, and I was amazed to see so many TYM products showcased in one place. After test-driving the ISEKI rice transplanter, I decided to purchase it on the spot. To top it off, I even won a rotary tiller in the event’s prize draw—a memory I’ll cherish. Beyond the quality of the products, I was deeply touched by how TYM treated every customer with genuine care and respect.
These days, my grandson visits the farm every weekend. His eyes light up as he asks, “Grandpa, can I ride the tractor?” Moments like these remind me that farming isn’t just hard work—it can also inspire dreams for the next generation. I hope my grandson’s memories of the farm will be as meaningful to him as they are to me.

Although my son still works in the city, he often talks about taking over the farm one day. I’m teaching him everything I know—from reading the land and understanding the seasons to operating machinery—all shaped by more than 40 years of experience with TYM by my side.

Looking back, TYM has been a constant presence throughout my farming life. Thanks to their support, I’ve been able to expand my operation and spend more time with my family. I look forward to continuing this journey, cultivating the land and building a legacy for the next generation, all with the trust and confidence that TYM provides.
