TYM on the road to Europe: AGRITECHNICA 2023 in review
TYM’s strategic move into the European market was marked by its participation in AGRITECHNICA 2023, Europe's largest agricultural machinery exhibition, which draws over 1,700 companies from 48 countries. This move signifies TYM's expansion beyond its established presence in South Korea and North America, demonstrating our commitment to engaging with customers and partners on a global scale.
Bringing pioneering technologies to the forefront
From November 12 to 18, a fleet of TYM tractors landed in Hanover, Germany to showcase its latest product innovations, focusing on autonomous driving technology, telematics, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) efforts. On-site, visitors explored the display of sub-compact and compact TYM tractors, including the ever-popular T25 and the T194, the lightweight sub-compact designed for international markets. Other head-turning tractors on display included the compact utility T78 tractor from the new Series 4 lineup and a preview of the T115 and T130 utility tractors, scheduled for international release in 2024.
Engaging visitors and building partnerships
Mirroring our approach in other international trade shows, the TYM display at AGRITECHNICA went beyond simply showcasing products, incorporating exhibitions and experiences to engage with visitors. A highlight of TYM's exhibition was the 'MY TYM' booth, an interactive space where visitors could immerse themselves in our state-of-the-art autonomous driving and telematics systems. These initiatives reflected TYM's pioneering status in the industry, marked by being the first company to pass Korea’s national examination for our autonomous driving technology with the T130 utility tractor and RGO-690 rice transplanter.
In addition to the product showcases at AGRITECHNICA, TYM organized various programs to engage visitors and demonstrate TYM’s services. This included a parts exhibition space featuring components like the Deutz engine used in the T130 and T115 models. Our efforts to engage the local community and partners, combined with superior TYM products, are driving us toward our goal to expand our brand awareness and market share in Europe. By 2026, TYM aims to achieve a 10% market share in key European countries, focusing on orchard tractors and regionally specialized attachments by strengthening strategic alliances.
