TYM (Co-CEOs Hiyong Kim, Dohoon Kim / 002900), a specialized agricultural machinery company, announced on the 14th that they held an invitation event for John Deere customers at the GUMICO Exhibition Convention Center in Gumi City, Gyeongsangbuk-do on the 12th. The event was attended by over 100 TYM employees from sales, service, quality, research, and product planning departments, along with John Deere representatives.
The event's slogan, "John Deere is Exclusively TYM!" highlighted the strong partnership between TYM and John Deere, which has lasted for approximately 40 years, and emphasized their service spirit committed to customer satisfaction. Moving beyond the typical exhibition concept, this was the first-ever John Deere customer event in Korea where each visitor's voice was heard and considered, attracting over 500 John Deere customers from across the country.
In his opening remarks, CEO Dohoon Kim expressed confidence, stating, "About 80% of the highest-level mechanics capable of providing John Deere services in Korea are affiliated with TYM," and pledged to offer the best service to all John Deere customers regardless of purchase location or time. He added, "This event is not just about showcasing products and services but about communicating more closely with our customers. TYM will continue to strengthen its long-standing partnership with John Deere and strive to provide new products and high-quality services continuously."

Cindy Bian, Director of Marketing and Sales for Agricultural Machinery in the Asia-Pacific region at John Deere, expressed her excitement and honor to attend Korea's first John Deere customer invitation event hosted by TYM. She remarked, "John Deere, along with its strong business partner TYM, will continue to provide solutions to enhance agricultural sustainability to Korean customers."
The main highlight of the event was the '5075E' tractor, which TYM exclusively introduced to the Korean market in September 2024. It is a global bestseller known for its proven performance, robust durability, and convenience. Additionally, the event featured 30 tractors from John Deere's R and M lineup, which are imported and supplied by TYM, along with genuine John Deere oil, filters, and parts kits.
During the presentation on parts and services, a John Deere representative noted, "Previously, there were three import distributors for John Deere products in Korea, but following the termination of the contract with Daedong, only two companies, including TYM, continue to partner with John Deere." They emphasized that since late November last year, TYM has been providing services for John Deere products regardless of purchase location or time, ensuring that existing customers can use John Deere products stably.
Furthermore, in this event, TYM employees directly communicated 1:1 with customers, providing information about John Deere products, and arranged for executives from various departments to meet customers face-to-face. Through this communication time, TYM emphasized that they have the highest level of understanding and technical expertise on John Deere tractors in Korea, leading to great enthusiasm and high satisfaction from the John Deere customers who visited the event.
A TYM representative stated, "We are pleased to consider all customers using the global bestseller brand John Deere products in the domestic market as TYM customers and strive to provide professional services. This event provided a valuable opportunity to communicate directly with many customers." They added, "TYM and John Deere will continue to strengthen our partnership and provide services that reflect the voices from the field to further enhance customer satisfaction."
