TYM is expanding its annual 'Young Returning Farmers Tractor Support Program' to include its employees as part of its efforts to promote rural development.

The agricultural machinery company TYM (CEO Heeyong Kim, Dohoon Kim / 002900) announced that it is conducting a program to provide free tractors to employees who return to farming after leaving the company.

TYM has expanded its tractor support for returning to farming as a gesture of gratitude to employees who have contributed to the company's development and to actively realize the company's mindset of mutual growth. The main purpose of this program is to support the stable initial settlement of employees who engage in agriculture after leaving the company. Regular and permanent contract employees who have served for more than 5 years and apply within one year of their resignation date are eligible for support.

Employees who pass the application review process will receive a Non-Cabin type tractor in the 30-40 horsepower range, similar to those provided in the Young Returning Farmers Tractor Support Program.

The first recipient of the employee-targeted tractor support program is Jeong Jae-yeon, who worked for 36 years in TYM's Quality Assurance 2 team and resigned last June. The tractor provided to Mr. Jeong is the TYM medium-sized tractor K48, known for its durability and work efficiency. It offers various control functions for quick and convenient operation and is highly versatile even in tight spaces.

Mr. Jeong said, "I was planning to return to farming as I approached retirement, and receiving a tractor from the company will be a great help. I am pleased to be the first recipient of the employee tractor support program and to be able to share TYM's efforts for mutual growth and rural development."

A TYM representative expressed hope that "the expansion of this tractor support program will serve as a policy that conveys gratitude to employees who have worked hard for the company while also helping them to return to farming successfully. We will continue to explore various measures for employee welfare and rural development."

Meanwhile, TYM has been running the 'Young Returning Farmers Tractor Support Program' for four consecutive years since 2020. This program aims to support stable agricultural management and local settlement for young returning farmers by providing them with tractors. In 2023, the program was implemented for 16 young returning farmers.
