Agricultural machinery specialist TYM announced on the 28th that a total of 13 members of the Uzbek delegation, including Alisher Abdusalomov, the Uzbek ambassador to Korea, Amanbay Orynbayev, the chairperson of the autonomous Republic of Karakalpakstan, and Vladimir Zhollibekov, the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade, visited TYM's Yongsan headquarters on the 26th.
TYM's CEO Dohoon Kim and Global Business Division Head Hogyeom Kim welcomed the delegation. TYM discussed cooperation plans with the Uzbek delegation and negotiated the commercialization of the locally-customized CNG tractor 'T6092'.
The 'T6092' was exhibited at the 'UzAgro Expo 2024' held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from November 20 to 22 last year, receiving positive reviews from the Uzbek Ministry of Agriculture and major business partners. It is set to be distributed locally from 2025. The delegation understood the specifications, performance, and operational advantages of the 'T6092', and highly evaluated its competitiveness, diesel import substitution effect, and the ripple effects on related industry development.
Additionally, the delegation introduced the business environment of Karakalpakstan, located in the northwest of Uzbekistan, and discussed the potential for domestic demand and exports to neighboring countries. Representatives of major agricultural machinery companies from Karakalpakstan also attended to exchange opinions on practical business cooperation.
The delegation requested TYM's visit to Karakalpakstan, and TYM responded by agreeing to investigate the local business environment for cooperation. TYM's Global Business Division Head Hogyeom Kim said, "We are pleased that the visit of the Uzbek ambassador and the chairperson of the Republic of Karakalpakstan to our headquarters has progressed business cooperation discussions, and we are encouraged by the high evaluation of the CNG tractor T6092, developed as a locally-customized product for Uzbekistan. TYM will take the Uzbek delegation's visit as an opportunity and use the Uzbek market as a bridgehead for entering Central Asia."
