TYM offers more than 200 million won in relief support to Türkiye
- TYM donated a total of 24 units of agricultural equipment including tractors to the Turkish Embassy in Korea
- Chairman Kim Hiyong met with Salih Murat Tamer, the Ambassador of Türkiye to Korea, to offer condolences and deliver the donation
- In addition to its humanitarian assistance in Türkiye and Ukraine, TYM will continue to extend a warm hand to other parts of the world to those who require assistance.

TYM has stepped up to support Türkiye, which was devastated by multiple earthquakes in February. On the 28th, TYM announced that it had donated about 167,176 euros (approximately 2.34 billion won, based on the exchange rate of the 28th) worth of relief supplies, including tractors and tractor attachments, to help the people of Türkiye.
On the 23rd, TYM delivered 12 tractors, 12 attachments, and tractor parts kits to the Turkish Embassy in Korea. This humanitarian assistance is intended to help the people of Türkiye to recover their daily lives as soon as possible.

The ceremony was attended by Turkish and TYM officials. Notably, Ayşe Tekin, the commercial attache from the Turkish Embassy, was present at the ceremony. The Embassy plans to transfer the supplies received from TYM to Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority(AFAD), to be used as part of rescue and rebuilding efforts.
In addition to providing supplies, TYM's Chairman Hiyong Kim, and CEO Dohoon Kim, visited the Turkish Embassy in Korea on the 27th to meet with Salih Murat Tamer, the Ambassador of Türkiye to Korea, to express their condolences and willingness to provide active support. TYM plans to offer long-term support through partnerships with European partners to promote the local utilization of the donated tractors.
Commercial attache Ayshe Tekin stated, “The donated tractors and agricultural equipment will be very useful for rescue efforts and for the rebuilding of disaster-stricken areas. I am very grateful for TYM's active support."
Chairman Hiyong Kim stated, "As we supported the economic reconstruction of Ukraine last year with donations of up to 500 million won, we decided to provide relief supplies to Türkiye to help its recovery. In the future, we will extend a warm hand of help to wherever it is needed, domestic or foreign, to fulfill our social responsibility as a global leading agricultural equipment brand."
