TYM announced that it will begin providing aid to the areas affected by Typhoon Hinnamnor as part of relief efforts.

TYM, a company specializing in agricultural machinery, announced on the 19th that it will provide emergency agricultural machinery inspection and free repair services in North Gyeongsang Province, including Pohang and Gyeongju, the areas most affected by the typhoon.

This agricultural machinery repair program was designed to actively fulfill TYM’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management policies by helping to resolve anxieties during the harvest season.

TYM will provide mobile emergency services for agricultural machinery affected by flooding. The program includes vehicle consumables such as engine oil, oil filters, and air cleaners. TYM is also considering several solutions for agricultural machinery found to be irreparable, including free rentals of new machines. Individuals who wish to apply for or inquire about the services should contact the TYM Customer Care Center (☎1588-4533).

A TYM official stated, "We deeply sympathize with farmers who are suffering from the typhoon and we will be participating in the repair program led by the Engineer Council of the Gyeongbuk Agricultural Cooperative Federation on the 15th," adding, "We will continue to do our best to fulfill our corporate social responsibilities in the future."

Meanwhile, TYM is carrying out other various social contribution projects and community support activities in need. During the diesel exhaust fluid shortages last November, diesel exhaust fluid was urgently provided to farmers in need. In March, TYM’s disaster control command center was activated to provide emergency support to farmers affected by forest fires on the East coast. Additionally, TYM’s tractor donation project to support young farmers and rural migration has been ongoing for three consecutive years. This year’s tractor donation project will be held until the end of this month.
