TYM has signed an eco-friendly factory construction contract to accelerate ESG management

Through this contract with Sen Solution, TYM will establish and operate a Factory Energy Management System (FEMS) in Iksan, Jeollabuk-do. FEMS is an integrated system that supports optimization of product production activities by monitoring, collecting, managing, and controlling energy data for energy and saving for factories.

TYM can monitor the energy use status of Iksan plants in real time through FEMS, and systematically manage energy data by production process, product, facility, and purpose. In addition, it is possible to establish performance indicators such as energy source units by linking visible energy data with corporate business systems and determine whether goals are achieved.

Earlier, TYM and Sen Solution signed an MOU in May with the aim of gradually converting TYM's major workplaces into eco-friendly and low-energy production facilities from the second half of this year. As part of the last MOU, the two companies will gradually expand FEMS in their workplaces, starting with Iksan Machinery in Jeollabuk-do, to continuously monitor energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, pollutant emissions, and indoor air quality environment.

Sen Solution is a leading domestic eco-friendly building company that provides energy performance optimization solutions, and has successfully carried out green remodeling projects such as the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's national project to spread green buildings based on market demand.

TYM, which declared ESG (environmental, social, and governance) management for the first time in the agricultural machinery industry in February this year, has pursued sustainable growth and has continued to improve the environment. In particular, it operates an ISO in-house standard management system, establishes environmental goals, and manages water pollutants through stricter in-house management standards than legal standards. In addition, when manufacturing agricultural machinery, it continues its environmental management activities in various ways, such as developing parts that utilize sustainable eco-friendly materials and minimizing waste and waste oil.
