Designing our operations for sustainability in every aspect
As TYM, we are committed to being a positive force in our home ground of South Korea and our bases of operation worldwide. Environmental sustainability is a core part of this commitment, as we strive to alleviate the negative affects of industrial operations and global warming.
Water
Our in-house standards for discharge and effluents are more stringent than compliance standards, to facilitate the conservation of water resources
Waste
In addition to recycling and reusing waste-generating resources, we are currently striving to reduce all oily waste by 10%
Power
We are aim to reduce our power consumption by further optimizing usage according to the season
Noise
We maintain noise levels to a maximum of 85 decibals, which is lower than the 90 decibal legal standard, to operate harmoniosly with our surroundings
Water pollutant management
At minimum, TYM meets all legal standards for water pollution management. Additionally, we hold ourselves to more stringent standards as a commitment to promoting cleaner water in all areas of operation.

Air pollutant management
In addition to staying below legal compliance limits, we continually measure and monitor any gasses or particles we release into the atmosphere. Using this data and optimization processes, we strive to keep decreasing the levels of air pollutants we generate.

Energy and water consumption management
We continuously measure and monitor consumption of power and water to optimize usage and reduce burden on natural resources. In addition to conservation measures, this also facilitates decreasing pollutants from our operations every year.

Waste management
We collect, separate and treatment waste generated from all our processes. Our continuous education programs consistently reinforce the recycling initiatives to limit landfill waste. All waste is processed by a certified management company to ensure proper handling of any waste we produce.
