TYM signs ODM agreement with Yanmar America, to begin supplying tractors in 2023

- TYM and Yanmar to offer a more diversified and expanded product lineup with all-new 37 and 74 hp tractors.

- TYM plans to actively respond to customer needs in North America by supplying products that meet higher standards

- The mutually beneficial agreement promotes partnership with an expanded triangular partnership structure with Yanmar Holdings and Yanmar America.

TYM has signed a new Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) agreement with Yanmar America The ODM contract with a globally recognized partner will give momentum to TYM’s continuing expansion in the North American market.

Yanmar America is based in the US and a current engine supplier for TYM. Yanmar America's parent company was established in Japan in 1921 and in 2002, transitioned into Yanmar Holdings Co ., Ltd. The holding company's FY 2021 net sales reached 871.5 billion yen (about 6.36 billion USD, based on the exchange rate on December 7, 2022).

The ODM agreement builds upon a long-standing relationship with Yanmar, and will transform their mutual business cooperation into a full-fledged partnership.

Under the agreement, TYM will begin delivering all-new 37-hp sub-compact and 74-hp compact tractors to Yanmar America in 2023. TYM will also add the new tractors to its own product lineup. Furthermore, the two companies plan to review future joint opportunities to diversify and expand their product lineups.

TYM and Yanmar America shared that their mutual objectives for the partnership are to become more responsive to diverse customer needs and to provide the best customer experience. TYM also stated that it plans to expand its business to more countries based on its accumulated knowledge, experience, and success in the North American market.

TYM expects quality control across the company will improve by supplying products and parts compliant with Yanmar America's strict Quality Management System (QMS).

A TYM official stated, "The signing of an ODM agreement with Yanmar America confirms the demand for TYM’s technology and products by global companies and in the North American market. With the new ODM agreement, TYM will strengthen our bonds with Yanmar America and Yanmar Holdings for mutual benefit."
